Our Capacity Building Initiatives for Children

Educational Strengthening

We ensure access to quality education by:

• Providing school supplies, uniforms, and tuition support
• Establishing learning centres in remote and urban slums

• Introduction to coding, typing, and digital storytelling

Child Protection and Advocacy

We educate children about their rights, personal safety, and emotional well-being. We also:

• Engage parents and teachers in child protection training
• Set up safe spaces for children to speak, play, and express themselves
• Provide psychosocial support for children affected by trauma or neglect

Our Model: Community-Based, Child-Focused

Our programs are run in partnership with communities. We train local youth mentors, community volunteers, and teachers to serve as long-term enablers for children. This ensures that every child has a strong circle of support—in schools, at home, and in the community.

Stories of Impact

Ahmed, age 13, dropped out of school to work at a tea stall in a rural town. Through RWF’s intervention, he was enrolled in a learning centre, trained in basic digital skills, and given counselling. Today, he’s not only back in school but also leads a children’s reading club.

Rabia, a quiet and withdrawn girl from a flood-affected area, bloomed after participating in an RWF art and drama program. She discovered her talent for storytelling and is now being mentored through our Youth Expression Initiative.
